About Captain Jim Weber : I am a light tackle and fly fishing guide in South Florida. I am a Miami native and have been fishing the area for more than 30 years. Introduced to fishing by my father at an early age, I became fascinated with the shallow waters of Biscayne Bay and Southeast Florida. I began my guiding career in 1985 and have fished both the east and west coasts of florida but spend the majority of my time on the waters in the southern portion of the state including Biscayne Bay near Miami. My favorite fish to target are tarpon, bonefish and permit but I will cast to any good fish that will put a nice bend in the rod and make the drag scream. Allow me to introduce you to this fantastic fishery we have here in South Florida. You won't regret it!

Operating Seasons: Year round

Description: I specialize in fishing the gin clear waters of Biscayne Bay and Biscayne National Park. Sight fishing with light tackle, spin and fly casting gear for Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit. My boat is a Hell's Bay 17.8 Professional and is the perfect platform for pursuing these wary game fish in shallow water. This boat's stealthy characteristics allow us to approach within casting distance in as little as five inches of water while poling silently across the flats. Sharks, Barracuda, Redfish, Snapper, Snook, Jack and Sea trout are also available. I provide all of the bait lures, flies and tackle you will need for your fishing trip as well as onboard instruction. I also provide your Florida salt water fishing license and a cooler with ice to store any food or drinks you may wish to bring. I can accommodate two anglers per charter. All experience levels are welcome. I am fully licensed and insured with over 25 years experience fishing and navigating the coastal waters of South Florida. Full day (8 hour trips) are $500.00 and half day (4 hour trips) are $400.00. Let's go fishing!
